Building codes hunting

Building codes hunting

Building codes hunting

(OP)
hello,

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this. I am a structural engineer currently working on egyptian projects. obviously i am not an egyptian. my problem is my design has to comply with their local building code which they provides to us in Arabics. I wonder if anyone here can provide me with some information on where I can purchase English version of their building codes(the structure related ones). or my question could be "do they even have their building codes in english?"
appreciate your help!!

Add to the question,
I am mostly interested in these three codes: ECP-201(which is about loads),ECP-203(concrete structure),ECP-205(steel structure)

RE: Building codes hunting

ECP -201 and ECP -203 to my knowledge are issued in Arabic only
ECP-205 you can find it there http://www.hti.edu.eg/academic-files/Arabic/1672.p...

if you need Hard copy of the code you can get it from Ministry of Housing or any of Universities in Egypt

Thank you for the help! Yes, I suspected 201 is probably in Arabics only. I have found the English version of ECP 203,205,208 through several document search engines online. However, ECP-201, I can only find it in Arabics... We will definitely purchase the hardcopy once we arrive there.
