Hi.
I'm looking for a transparent/translucent polypropylene, if it exists.
If possible, I'd like it to meet the UL94-V0 rating.
Thanks.

Pesy.

RE: looking for transparent polypropylene

We use a translucent polypropylene on one of our products.  It is injection molded grade, and I believe we get it from GE.  I believe it will meet the UL requirements you stated.  I don't think it is proprietary, but they went through a lot of research to develop it.

Dear Prodeng,

what is the material?

RE: looking for transparent polypropylene

It has been a few years since I have injection molded clarified PP. There are a lot of suppliers of raw materials.
