Hi,
I am working on optimizing the mechanical properties of a 3D printed network of polymer fibers in Ansys Workbench 15. The architecture is a repeating master template that has been stacked on top of itself. This stack is then cut to give it a ramp like bulk shape. I have been having trouble finding a way to mesh this object. Ideally, I would just have a element be the size of the cross-section of the fiber. Can anyone help me get started on this meshing? Can i use periodic meshing? What's the best way to go about doing this?

Thanks
sghod
