Desalination Plant Maintenance Program

Good day!

I am currently working in a petroleum refining company. We have a newly built desalination plant for cooling and utility water for the plant. I was wondering if there are some typical preventive maintenance programs that we can follow.

I am still studying the equipment and I would greatly appreciate some pointers with this regard.
