Hello Guys,

I'm trying to model two curved plates of different materials.
One of the material is stainless steel and the other type is a piezoelectric material.
These two curved plates are attached with a glue (adhesive) of different mechanical properties.

The whole system is assumed to be a simply supported beam

My aim is to apply a sinusoidal force on the axis of the piezo plate and find out the electrical voltage output.
In ABAQUS, i'm trying to do shell modeling, I have extracted the mid surface of the components and assigned thickness properties.
But i'm unable to model the connection between the two plates. How should I model glue connection in ABAQUS environment?

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Awaiting for quick reply.

Regards,
Raja.
