I am new to the environment of mechanical seals. What cut sheet comparisons/compatabilities are we looking for when replacing an obsolete design mechanical seal with a newer design mechanical seal? Obviously shaft and bore diameters are imporant to match. Are there any other comparisons that should be made that are of concern?
