Does any one know where I can purchase a copy of this book - Designing Floor Slabs on Grade by Boyd C. Ringo and Robert B. Anderson (Second Edition) ??

That is not $800.00

Thanks.

The publisher must not want to sell very many copies of that book. No book is worth that to me.

Pick up a 1957 version of CRSI; it has a grand total of 1 (one) page dedicated to slabs on grade. Not the most precise thing in the world but I'm guessing that the majority of slabs built in accordance with the chart on that page fared fairly well.

Now if I specialized in slabs on grade I might feel differently but since I don't, I don't.

Good luck with your pursuit.

Thanks Archie264 - I have that book but it is not detailed enough for heavy fork lifts or concentrated loads... I use the TM 5-809-12 now. Thanks again.

Ok, good. I figured there would be a reason you would want the book.

I have not - Thank you. I will give it a try.

you could try abebooks.com They list that book for 450?

Will look for my copy for you, love the book,...used it when I did newspaper plant floor slab design for fork lift and aisle loading. Great book. Will look this weekend and get back to you.

structuralsteelhead - if you find it are you selling it to wybengbm?

I bought a copy off Scribd.
It's a PDF download that you can print.

Scribd has unlimited downloads with membership - I think a one day membership was $10.

I think the book is much more useful and practical than ACI 360R, but you should certainly be familiar with 360
