Teamcenter on Cloud

(OP)
We now support Teamcenter on the Amazon Cloud.

Is this something that customers are interested in?

Even if you would not put your production deployment on the public cloud, would you consider putting either training instances or development instances there?

RE: Teamcenter on Cloud

To be honest, i have not understood the point in using the cloud , if you are a "large" company.
If you are a "large" company, you probably have the IT-team, the knowledge, the servers and the disk space,
-so what would be the point in renting this from somebody else instead ?
Instead your data traffic needs to use external lines, with potential safety risks. ( Again this is an area where you need to have deep knowledge)

If, on the other hand, you don't have the people / the knowledge/ the servers, then the cloud could be of interest.

Or, have i missed something here ?

Regards,
Tomas
