DRex,
For the report you are looking for, you may have contact Vetitas themselves. Other related references are DnV Guideline 14.5, "pipeline - trawler interaction" also check the OTC listing on the subject, there are several papers, offhand I do not have the references.

How do I contact veritec? Do they have a website?

RE: Dropped Object Analysis - Veritec

Web site:

http://www.dnv.com/

I tried a search without finding the document, but I found other documents which might be interesting and with references to this dnv/veritas/veritec report

Veritas Offshore Technology and Services A/S (VERITEC). "Design guidance for offshore steel struc-
tures exposed to accidental loads". Report No. 88-3172, August 1988.

The papers:

Hope this helps

Mogens
