I have a fuel gas burner on a Emuslion treater, and at 60 degC ( design) Oil is from the Oil Wells, still unable to break the emulsion. It has been suggested we need to go to 80 but the heater is not designed for this temp. Will incompatable Oil Field water cause emulsion

Have you done any testing to see what temperature you may need? Have you looked at chemicals to help you break the emulsion? Can you re-rate the heater to a higher temperature?
