What research or design info exists for assessing moving point loads on slabs built upon steel decking, composite or otherwise? This is for assessing punching, bending and localized deflections that tend to gradually break up this kind of slab. I have the SDI manual for the design of same.

"Design with Steel Joist, Joist Girders and Steel Deck" by James M. Fisher, Michael A. West and Julius P. Van De Pas has section on Composite Floor Slab with Line Load and with Concentrated Load. You may get this book from Vulcraft.

We used it for design of slab with forklift load. No complaints.
