I need to glue a flat aluminum plate on an injection molded PC-Poly Carbonate- preferable with a double sided tape. The requirement is 70°C and 90%humidity.
I did tests with a NITO 5015 tape but as the PC-plastic isn't really flat the Al-plate comes loose on the corners, because of the stiffness of the Al-plate.
Question; do you know a double-sided tape that could withstand the Temp. and fog. requirements?

Part of the problem you are having with tape is that almost all tapes are made with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. As a general rule most PSA's don't have a high heat tolerance. If you are seeking a permanent bond, use a moisture cure urethane. The humidity will not affect it (other than causing it to cure faster). It comes in a caulk tube for easy application.
