Panasonic 2KW, Is a part out worth it?

Panasonic 2KW, Is a part out worth it?

(OP)
Hello all,

Currently stuck between a rock & a hard place.
I have a 2Kw laser lying dormant for some time, however fully operational.
No really an option to commision & use the machine due to limited space & power.
Laser reasonator is a 1997 Panasonic type 7, 2Kw, 24,000 Hrs

Question is!
Should i part it out & Ebay the lot?

There are a lot of cheap 2nd hand machines on the market, so it's probably not worth a hell of a lot to sell.

Being that these are very exspensive components that are typically only sold on exchange basis, would this stuff sell over the coarse of a few years?

Some of the really expensive (Mazak) items that i think would be quite valuable (correct me if im wrong)

LB2400 Ulvac booster, Yaskawa main invertor, Single and dual axis servo drives & servo motors, Power sensor, vacuum sensor, vacuum pump, 3 x HV power supplies, 3x current sensors, 3x IGBT power supplies, all the panasonic PCBs on the resonator side & CNC side

+ the rest of the items i havent mentioned.

Has any scrapped a machine, then popped the champagne when you sold off the parts?

Any estimations on the total spares value, (taking into consideration im not lookign to sell the parts dirt cheap), im estimating maybe $35k? thoughts anyone?

Please help with this one as its only weeks before relocation or part out..

Cheers
