Connecting tank to flare

Connecting tank to flare

Connecting tank to flare

(OP)
Hello

in my company we are thinking to connect some tanks to flare.

the inbreath will be N2
and the out breath to the flare with a check valve to avoid the return.
simple!!
but unfortanely the N2 blankting can fail and O2 can enter the tank, and then during the out breathing we will putt O2 in the flare system.

what you reccomend? i read some opinions about install O2 analiser in the flare line.
can i read some documentation about this?

thus anyone have exprience with this?

ok, it can be done, but it will nor solve my problem.

does anyone have similar instalations?
do you have any problems??

i was thinking creating a vessel to 5 or 6 tanks, and in this vessel i will have a valve with split range that connects to flare or to atmosphere (atm).

the O2 analyser will control the split range, if appears O2 in the line the will be sent to atm).

because O2 in flare line is very dangerous, maybee i will install double O2 analyser.

Any comments or sugestions?

i think is more easy to install this system that by a VRU
