Brand spankn' new to Microstation V8. LDD/Civil user.

When I draw a smart line, polygon, text, etc... in View 1 it will not show up.  I know it is in there because of the Select all command.  If I do the same thing in View 2-3... they show up.

Why? Setting? I do not know how to draw a simple object?

RE: Line, Circle, Polygon, Etc... Will Not Show Up.

Check what levels are turned on in the different views.

RE: Line, Circle, Polygon, Etc... Will Not Show Up.

If your file is  3d you  need to be looking from the  top while  in view 1 key in to the keyin browser vi=top
if so  try using 2 d file  first  and  try your  drawing technique again.. if you can see stuff ok then its your placing  objects with awkward z values for  the  2d length to show  up....
