I have been working with Sodium Silicate from PQ Corporation.
The attempt is to produce a clear casting of the material by reacting a catalyst with the SS Resin. Unfortunantly I have only been able to cast it opaque. Does anyone know how or what organic or inorganic material will react with Sodium Silicate and cause it to cure in a somewhate clear to semi-transparent film at a variety of thicknesses.
