Need help finding impact wrench testing equipment

Need help finding impact wrench testing equipment

(OP)
Hi all,
I have been looking quite a lot on the net and now I  r e a l l y  need help.
I need to calibrate or rather verify the output of impact wrenches and I need the tools for it. I live in Finland and I would very much like to buy something within Europe. This because I assume all such equipment needs calibration themselves and I am guessing sending it across the world annually for calibration will be to cumbersome/expensive.
I am a n00b regarding this equipment and I have no idea what providers/manufacturers to look for. I have been in contact with www.skidmore-wilhelm.com and they have the equipment we need but it is a long way for service etc if we ever would need it (calibration annually).
I need to calibrate various impact wrenches in the range of:
1/4" (80Nm) to 1" (3000Nm)

Budget is about 5000euros.

I am very grateful for any advice you might have. I also hope I chose the correct sub-forum for this thread.

Thanks!
Jerra

Cory, thanks! I have sent them an email. I had a look at their  SCHATZ®CERTEST. Lets see what they have to say.

More suggestions are most welcomed.

I have received info from Schatz and their tools does not handle impact tools(mechanical) only impuls tools (hydraulic).

I am surprised on how difficult it is to find this type of equipment. Surely there must be quite common in the heavy industries?

RE: Need help finding impact wrench testing equipment

One problem is that impact tools are not to be used for precise work, so there is little need for precise measurement of their output.

Another measurement equipment supplier is TesT GmbH in Germany:

Or, you could contact the Swedish impact tool manufacturer Atlas Copco and ask them if they use any measurement equipment during the construction of their impact tools:

Yes that is true but it is important to know whether they produce 1500Nm or 2200Nm or so after have been serviced.
Thanks for the links, I'll get at it asap.
