Welding high pressure hydraulic tubing

Out of curiosity do you have any info or standards that pertain to 3,000 psi? I am starting to working on a spec for a hydraulic distribution system for my new structures lab. The architect says "no problem, we have done this before." But I want to cover my behind. Thanks, ISZ

Try ASME B31.3 as a guide.

Here is a supplier of pipe cleaned specifically for hydraulic oil service that references ASME B31.1 for pressures. They have some conditions for welding but not to any specific code or standard. A call might be beneficial.
