Anyone used a Sony CAST-CR1?

If you have, please let me know because I am having a hard time getting it to work via PC.  In addition, the software supplied with it appears to be a bad image.  To make matters worse, Sony Industrial died 5 years ago, which means this product has no support from Sony at all.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
