Project 'Working Hours'

Project 'Working Hours'

Project 'Working Hours'

(OP)
Is there any way of specifying working hours by sub-project within a single plan ?  I'm trying to tie sub-projects together in the same plan.  The sub-projects are fixed durations but have different default working hours, e.g. one works weekends, the other doesn't.  At the moment I am having to work off estimated start and end rather than duration.  If the dates slip, then the durations will be wrong if they fall over an extra weekend.

RE: Project 'Working Hours'

Hi
I hope the following solution will work for you
- define seperate calenders for various sub projects
   tools->change working time ->new  calender
- Say you have defined calender1 for sub project1
  now select this calender (tools->change working time-calender1) and now select non default working time for this calender, for this you will select a column (say monday column) on the calender and on the right side of this display you have the columns to specify the working hours.
-Now for sub project 1 , the task you have defined , modify them for calender=calender1 (go to advance tab on task information popup)
