PTC Acquires Mathsoft

PTC Acquires Mathsoft

PTC Acquires Mathsoft

PTC has bought MathSoft:

How does this affect Mathcad users?
Will the integration between Mathcad and Pro/E be of benefit?
Does this compromise Mathcad development?
Any other comments.....

RE: PTC Acquires Mathsoft

Mathcad development can't get much worse, can it?

Actually having it developed by a group that undertsands the importance of stability, and the critical importance that files must not be lost or corrupted, is good.

RE: PTC Acquires Mathsoft

You must not be a Pro/E user or you wouldn't be so confident in PTC's ability :)

RE: PTC Acquires Mathsoft

Mathsoft and PTC are excited about integrating Pro-E and Mathcad. The link will go both ways
Stay tuned for some great announcements

RE: PTC Acquires Mathsoft

One better be excited about a $63e6 purchase! I agree the potential is great, but they better get the integration far better than it is with Pro/E and Excel.
