(OP)
I am a structural engineer and I am assigned to help petroleum engineers set up these tall slender units in a zone of high seismicity and high speed winds.

Curious I am on the following:

1) Limit drift under wind and seismic loading, say service level

2)Any stricter requirements on vortex induced vibrations?
