I shall be thankful if some of the knowledgeable members of the forum provide ball park pricing for different grades of heat resistant steel castings commonly HH and Hk in unmachined condition. This is to compare the price with raw material cost which has begun to spiral.

I just received a quote for one 3" OD x .25" x 72" long HH tube at $1333 (for welding procedure qualification). Larger quantities will be less expensive.
