When using clause 7.2.5 of CSA Z662-03 for welding shop fabricated spools etc that will be used in a pipeline, does para (d) standards of acceptability mean both testing and examination?

Thanks ER, I think what you meant by your response is that not only would weld examination in accordance with B31.3 be required but also hydrotesting testing in accordance with B31.3 chapter VI and inspection certification etc. I have been told that only examination ie: xray etc pertains to this and that hydrotesting would be in accordance with Z662 ie: 1 hour hold at 1.25 or 1.4 X MOP rather than 1.5X as per B31.3??
