Hi Jos,
I am not exactly sure what you are looking for , but the best place to start to find out about automotive engineering would probably be to go to the SAE(Society of Automotive Engineers) homepage. You should be able to find it with any search engine or there is probably a link to the site through this site somewhere. If I can help any further feel free to email me raw25@Drexel.edu.
