Hello community,

Is there a web platform where you can access various OEM CAD (3D models)?

It doesn't necessarily have to be the latest models.

Thanks

The OEs have contact info on their websites for established bodybuilders to request sales models. If you're a hobbyist then no. Fleet sales and bodybuilder support arent a particularly big source of revenue so they need to risk liability vs profit.

I know of at least three companies that do benchmarking and will offer you a subscription to a wide variety of that sort of information. Just search something like "automotive benchmarking"

If you need free, there were some crash models released to NHTSA that can be accessed at https://www.nhtsa.gov/crash-simulation-vehicle-models, and I imagine that there are other similar collections in other governmental regulatory agencies as well as university research consortiums
