FOUND "TECHNODRIVE" TRIPLE DRIVE GEAR BOX (DRIVES 3 HYD PUMPS ON A CRANE)CONTAMINATED WITH HYD OIL. SUSPECT LEAK FROM ONE OR MORE PUMPS INTO GEAR BOX.

LOOKING FOR WAY TO 1)CONFIRM HYD OIL LEAK FROM PUMP INTO GB 2)DETERMINE WHICH OF THE 3 PUMPS AT FAULT.

LOGISTICS CONTRAINT- DOWNTIME OF CRANE < 1 DAY. BUYING 3 PUMPS (DIFF MODELS) SOLVE THIS BUT EXPENSIVE AND WASTEFUL.

APPRECIATE ANYONE WHO CUD SHARE THIER EXPERIENCE.

THANK YOU ALL.

You may be able to tell by looking at the case drain level in each pump. If you can’t see a level difference, apply about 25 lbs air pressure to case drain. This should cause the seal to leak oil and if low air.
