Yup... and it could be reached in 2022, 2023, 2024, etc. and not one in a hundred years. I have no idea of where this will go, but looking at the Mead Reservoir and surrounding waterways, it isn't looking particularly good. I think they have another 45' before there is no more Hydro... let alone irrigation. There's a big milestone coming up in a month or so regarding water usage... that will be interesting to see how that works out... In a Chinese sense, these are interesting times... (not really the 'classic' Chinese curse, but people understand it as such, and I'm not racist in any fashion).

They mentioned the location, it was the same spot, and was well known. Sorry I forgot to note it... I'll see if I can locate the site. For the last few decades, the US south-west has been in a terrible situation with heat and drought, promoting fires, and power outages.

It already has changed. The solar magnetic activity cycle is 11 years. 22 I suppose if you consider the flipping of magnetic poles.

But what’s it got to do with air travel?

Personally, I think we should just pack as many people as possible into Canada with their abundance of hydroelectric power.

Sorry Hokie... I missed a step... When Tug mentioned Calif hit that temp, I knew it was in Death Valley and just posted him how they are setting records nearly on a yearly basis... that will likely continue. I never thought to reference it, but the temperatures were recorded at a certain location in Death Valley, and I should have recorded the location.
