My office is retrofitting an existing structure that was framed using light gage, ASTM A375 steel material. I understand that in the early 70's A375 steel was replaced with A606 material. However, can someone please tell me what was/is the yield strength for the existing A375 material?

Thanks in advance for your help.

One ASTM A375 structural reference lists, "50,000 psi minimum yield for high tensile strength purlin or girt sections with material thickness equal to or less than 0.23 inch."

Thanks Boo1.

I appreciate your quick response.
