Hello everyone,
I am writing a user beam element using the UEL of ANSYS, and I have problems, Please help me!
By now, I know how to write a 2node 6DOF beam element like beam4 element of ANSYS, and next I want to increased one more DOF based on this, I had changed the stiffness matrix and mass matrix, the calculation results were good under self-weight. But I don't know how to write the applied load vector in the UEL file, is it 14*1 vector? and what are the vector compositions? The vertical displacement results were very big under the axial temperature load, which should almost be zero.
Any good suggestions?
Very appreciate it!
