Was told that this question my be better off in this forum so I'm reposting it here...
I've been hunting for design equations and calculations to design a wrap spring clutch. I want to calculate the maximum transferrable torque before slippage occurs. I have not been able to find a thing anywhere on the net, and I have looked and looked. Can anyone save me from going back to first principles and deriving them myself?
