die-springs-what-exactly-is-us-standard-v0-7nn8ytuo352d1_mdxc8a.jpg

It seems US series have very close dimensions and specs as ISO 10243, only noticeable differences are colors and their classes naming.

So in which standard these US die springs' color are specified, like in ISO 10243 ?? I cannot find such info.

I've seen it referred to (in the US) as the Raymond Die Spring color code...Raymond being a large manufacturer (now a division of Associated Spring Corp) of die springs. That said, some of what I believe are competitor manufacturers use the same color code. Others (Lee Spring for instance) have their own color code going from gray (medium), thru beige, purple, black, orange (extra heavy).

Thanks for the info. That is what I am looking for.
