This is another simple one, but it is bugging me. I have created a draw view of a 3D part, and would like to add some layout drawing elements before printing. To do this I would like to use the center of a 3D circular arc, but when I pick "point" or "line", the system will not recognize the circle center in the draw view. I could zoom way up and eyeball a point in, but that's so jury rig. Is there a way to find the circle center?

Click on the arc and then under annotations select center mark.

Or, create the sketch in the part and show it in the drawing.

Are you referring to the selection filters? If so, deselect all of them. Then, when sketching in a view, just hover over the curve for a second or so and the centre should appear and be selectable.
