Hi,
I am using MS Project 2003 and trying to do --
1.Create a new project, Add a task, set duration = 1 day
2. Change the task type to Fixed Duration and uncheck "effort driven".
3. change % Complete to 10 %.
4.Assign a resource to task. Now the diff fields will be:
Work = 8 hrs
Actual = 0.8 hrs
Remaining = 7.2 hrs
% work complete = 10%
5. Now try to change the resource assignment units to 50%
-- resource assignment units does n't change
-- Instead these fileds will change:
Work = 4.4 hrs
Actual = 0.8 hrs
Remaining = 3.6 hrs
% work complete = 18%
can anyone help me in understanding what is happening...?
