Has anyone tried to create material property data for wood in SAP? I know it can't "design" wood sections, but I would at least like to analyze frame sections with wood material properties. I would greatly appreciate a look at the material property data you used. Thank you.

In the material section use OTHER
for analysis all you need is a good estimate of modulus of elasticiy E, especially if your system is statically indeterminate.
I think for structural wood, it is about 1000000 psi to 1400000 psi.
Have a look at UBC'97 or IBC 2003 for data
