I'm using Solid Edge ST, and I don't know how to Wireframe a single object on an assembly. For example, I want to wire frame the part that gaurds the rotor, but have my rotor in solid form.

Not sure you can do it as such.

You can set a part to be a 'clear' or 'transparent' finish. Then if you set the assy to be shaded with edges shown you'll kind of get the same effect - especially if you use white clear or something.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

Ok, how do I set it to transparent finish, is that in the scene mode.

You can select the part, then on the view tab there is a style group. You should then be able to choose from one of the standard face styles - some of which are transparent.

Alternatively select the part, then on the view ribbon choose Format Faces. The the appearance tab has a setting for opacity.

Hope that helps
