Wire mesh

Could someone provide information or link for
3/0 – 11 wire mesh used as concrete slab reinforcing in the 1920’s.
I would like to understand the description 3/0 – 11.

macan1 - What you have described was called "wire fabric". The numbers refer to the wire size:

3/0 is the steel wire gage for principal reinforcement (called carrying wire) with diameter of 0.3625 inches.

11 is the steel wire gage for the cross wires (called distributing wire). Its diameter is 0.1205 inches

The spacing of these wires is probably noted or dimensioned on the drawings.

I have not found a reference which uses this exact terminology, but it is probably made using 000 (or 3/0, 0.3625" diameter) wire spaced at 11 inches.
