I have lost my password to a ziped file (WinZip), is there a way to find that password?

Thanks ppl

Hope it was a short password.

I've tried a couple password crackers and they are SLO particularly if the password was halfway plausible. TTFN

This program says ~1 billion tries and hour. If you are using numbers, lowercase, and uppercase. Thats about 5 digits in and hour and 6 digits in 62 hours. I hope its not longer than that. 7 digits in 164 days.

Or if your company uses a standard format for passwords like xxxx0000 then you have 26x26x26x26x10x10x10x10 only 4 billion possibilities, so about 4 hours. (Assuming it will let you enter some kind of mask like that)

Or the fastest would be if your company uses a word and a program can do a dictionary run-through.

thank's for the leads,
regards
