HELLO my friends!!!, I would like to know your experience using Windrock.

I´d like to use it on engine driven gas compressors

My best regards!!!

No it is Windrock. It is well spell. This is a portable analyzer base on reciprocant compressor pretty much. Even though it has been improving and getting into some other areas like vibration in motors and pumps, and more.
This analyzer helps you to determinate the mechanical integrity of your equipments.
We use it in ours plants and it is a really good tool.
It has helped us a lot, predicting failures before they become catastrophic, and thanks to this tool be have improved our reliability in our compressors.
Are You in Monagas Venezuela??

It's a little hard ot believe you're spelliing "Windrock" correctly when you are rarely spelling anything else correctly...

But you are right:
Try contacting these gentlemen in Brasil. They work for PetroBras and have published a technical paper "On_line Monitoring of Reciprocating Compressors" based on their work with Windrock equipment:
Nelmo Furtado Fernandes, Chemical Engineer. Senior Process Engineer at PETROBRAS Gabriel Passos
Refinery, Betim. MG, Brazil.

Jose Eduardo De Caux, Maintenance Technician. Technical Consultant at PETROBRAS Gabriel Passos
Refinery, Betim, MG, Brazil.

Sorry, I don't have e-mail addresses.

sorry - Windrock is correct - it is a group that split off from CSI years ago and specialize in recipricating machinery. Here is a link to their International reps:

Other recommended condition monitoring systems for reciprocating equipment include Prognost ( and Dynalco (
