Window Selection and copy

Hi friends,

I have a small requirement here.I need to select few parts in the assembly as a window selection and copy it to other assembly. But CATIA is not allowing me to copy the items selected through window selection.Any help?

Are you writing a macro or just using CATIA? Are you trying to draw a box with the cursor and copy all the visible data on the screen or select the parts from the spec tree?

I am not trying for a macro.i am just trying to select the objects from the geometry area.Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

There is a toolbar called Filtered Selection, you have to choose from there what type of filter you want (maybe Products Selection), then in the toolbar Select you can choose what kind of selection you want (maybe Intersecting Rectangle Selection Trap).
