Windchill Browser window

I just started at a company using windchill 9does anyone know how to make the windchill browser window open in a separate window rather than in front of my Pro E model?


I have 2 screens why not be productive?

I'm assuming you're talking about the embedded browser window inside Pro/E that you use to view your workspace.

PTC have added a new config option in Creo 1.0 web_browser_in_separate_window that allows you to do exactly what you've asked about. It's great for dual screen setups. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 (Wildfire 5.0). Hopefully PTC might build it in.

Thanks for the reply..... but that just stinks!!!
I guess that is like when ask for something they say maybe in the next version eeh?
