Wind Turbine Far Field Noise

Is anyone aware of any studies conducted to determine the effect of wind direction on far field noise levels (distances greater than 1,000 feet from the wind turbine generator). Generally, I would expect downwind to be slighly louder than upwind, but would like to confirm with published studies.
