Using the simplified method, what table should be used to determine the Wind Load C&C for Soffits at Overhangs in ASCE 7-16? Suggestions/comments are appreciated.

I know Figure 30.4-1 is for overhang, but I do not see any figure that mentions "SOFFITS AT OVERHANGS"

I don't have 7-16, so it looks like they scrambled the figures around (of course), but 30.7-2 in 7-10, Roof Overhang Wind Loads, shows loading on an overhang with a soffit in the picture.

The soffit is really just the underside of the overhang. For all practical purposes, it doesn't matter if the rafter tail just hangs out there or if they turn it back with a 2x4 and make a soffit. The load on the underside of the overhang is going to be the same.

Take a look at Figures 30.6-2 and 30.9-1. This separates soffit and upper surface.

@Aesur

Thank you for Figures 30.6-2 and 30.9-1. In each Figure, they state that the "Pressure ps at soffit of overhang shall be taken as equal to the wall pressure pw". So would this mean that whatever I calculated for my wall pressure I can use for the soffit pressures. Please let me know if this interpretation is correct?
