Does anyone know if the 2008-2009 Student Version of Solidworks will run on a computer (laptop) running Windows 7 Pro edition with the XP Mode active?

Per the Solidworks system requirements page it looks like only 2010 and 2011 editions of the non-Student version will run on Win-7. We're about to upgrade out home computer system and I'm trying to migrate to and learn Solidworks.

Thanks for any help. I'm new to this site so please bear (bare?) with me, and direct me if I'm in the wrong area for this question.

Mike
