I know this a question that gets asked a lot, but I searched and didn't see any direct answers. So here goes.

I'm currently doing a trial and would like to load SW onto my laptop so I can play with it while on travel (which often involves a lot of down time). I have an older laptop, a Dell Inspiron 9300, with 2GB ram and nVidia Go 6800 video card (the best they offered on this model at the time). Will this run SW well enough for trial purposes? I expect to mainly be doing tutorials involving simple single part models or very small assemblies - nothing that should really tax the system. So I hope this will work. I guess stability is the main issue though.

Thanks for any feedback on this.

Unfortunately, the only way to find out for sure is to try it.
I doubt that (m)any others would have tried SW09 on that combination.

Thanks for the feedback.

I guess I'll give it a try and see how it does. SE worked ok with it (although the color highlighting looked a little different, but nothing major) - so hopefully SW will as well.
