Hi everyone.

I am curious with aerofoil analysis using CFD especially for bridge deck. Can anyone tell which FEA can predict Cd, Cm, and Cl with/out turbulent: Ansys Flotran, Ansys CFX, Cosmos Flowplus, Abaqus and Fluent.

Your help will very be appreciated. Thank you.

Fluent can do Cd, Cm, and Cl with and without turbulent
flow but it is not FEA but FVM (finite volume method).

Thank you for replying Ekmedzic..
I dont know what spec that any CFD could do Cd calculation ?
Does it mention on brocure or something ?

COSMOSFloWorks can do what you need if you have SolidWorks. Otherwise, EFDLab is essentially the same as COSMOSFloWorks for users of other CAD programs.
