I've got a hydraulic pump with a DIN 5480 spline shaft. External spline, W20 X 1.25 X 9g, 14 tooth, flat root. I need to couple this pump to either a chain drive or gear set. I only need a couple, so I don't want to pay the setup cost to have an internal spline custom broached. Does anyone offer a blank spline coupler that I could machine and/or weld to my sprocket/gear?

Thanks,
Aaron

Aaron,

Here is a link to a catalog with couplings you may be able to use. Looks like you could use two different coupling halves, one DIN 5480 splined and the other plain bored with keyseat. Maybe you could adapt the plain bore half to the gear/sprocket.

Hope this helps.
