Where to find a job utilizing cryogenic training

I've recently graduated the Cryogenics "C" school in the Navy. Passed 2nd in the class and received my type 2 EPA card. Now i am wondering where i can apply this knowledge on the civilian side. I will have 2 years of experience, many college credits but no degree. I'm looking to relocate to the north east, and i've heard hospitals hire cryotechs. Any suggestions

All of the major industrial gas companies as Handy points out are good bets. But there are many companies that support these large corporations, just as there are many subcontractors that support the automakers. I'd suggest getting your resume together and sending out to any of the manufacturers given in ThomasNet here:

Regarding hospitals, I know they have liquid oxygen for patient use but these systems are generally owned and operated by the industrial gas supplier. The only other medical use that pops into mind is the use of liquid helium for MRI machines, but again, technical services are generally contracted by either an industrial gas company or the MRI manufacturer (GE Medical, Philips, Siemans).

With your 'sea legs' I would think the LNG tankers would be an obvious route. The 'loading' and 'unloading' of this media(as you obviously want to stay on land)is where you may be able to ask questions and ply your trade, as I know thats where a lot of your training comes into play as its where safety is very important.You will need to start fairly low with the small degree of experience you have but may give you an opening within safety.
Try also any large fast food manufacturer as they use lots of N2 to freeze the food down quickly after cooking.
