Where can I find handicap parking standards for VA?

I need to know what the spacing requirements are. The VDOT website has proved unhelpful thus far....

Most places defer or comply with American Disabilities Act design standards:

Different jurisdictions may have requirements for HC parking and access that may be more stringent than VA requirements. Should also check with local zoning requirements.
