when speedpak no render?

Hello,

Since a while I have been using SW2009.
Preformance really got better. (even on a octa core xeon)

There is one thing that I can not find out. If I use speedpak, I can not render the part (the part is left out)

Is that normal? I can not find it in the manual.

That seems to make sense. The part is only there as a graphical representation and not loaded into memory. Just my $.02

Thanks, but what is the advatage of speedpak.
Since there is no way to easely switch speedpak off again.

I would be great to make an assembly with speedpak and afterwards turn speedpak off, and then render.
But is this possible?

I believe you can RMB on the part(s) and choose load. I'm not running '09 yet, just going off of my (limited) memory of what I saw at a rollout.
